Mobile Notary and Document Services - We Come to You!
Remote online notarization (RON) lets a commissioned Iowa notary notarize your document over a secure video call. You don't drive anywhere, and neither do we. Phone, tablet, or laptop - if it has a camera and a microphone, you're set.
CALL OR TEXT (515) 850-0038 · (515) 518-0707 Text us "online" and what you're signing. We'll send you the link.
1. Send us the document. Text or email a PDF, or a clear photo. Don't sign it yet.
2. We send you a secure link. Pick a time or hop on right away if we're free. Same-day is usually possible.
3. Verify your identity. You'll snap a picture of your ID and answer a few quick questions generated from public records. Takes about two minutes. This is required by Iowa law - it's what makes an online notarization legally the same as an in-person one.
4. Sign on video. We meet face-to-face on screen, walk through the document, and you sign electronically. We apply our digital seal.
5. Done. You get the notarized PDF immediately. Print it, email it, upload it - it's the finished, legally valid document.
You're out of state and need an Iowa notary
You're traveling, deployed, or stuck somewhere with a document due
You're in a hospital or facility outside our driving range
It's late, it's snowing, and you just need one signature notarized
You'd rather not have a stranger in your living room
You've got a document a recipient specifically wants signed electronically
We're physically in Iowa for every session, as Iowa law requires. You can be anywhere with an internet connection.
A phone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and microphone
A stable internet connection
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
The unsigned document as a PDF (we can help convert a photo)
A U.S. credit history - the identity questions in step 3 are pulled from U.S. public records. If you've never lived in the U.S. or your record is very thin, the system may not be able to verify you. Call us first and we'll figure out the right path.
We'll tell you up front rather than waste your time:
Wills and some estate documents. Talk to your attorney before notarizing these online.
Documents going overseas. Some foreign governments and consulates still won't accept an electronic notarization. Check with the receiving party first.
Signers who can't do video. If the person signing is very ill, hard of hearing, or unfamiliar with technology, a mobile visit is usually the better call. That's what we do most.
Documents that must be wet-signed. Some recipients still require an ink signature on paper. If they do, we'll come to you instead.
Not sure? Text us a picture of the first page. We'll tell you which way to go.
Starting at $35 per session. Secure online notarization from anywhere. Pricing is based on the number of notarizations, signers, and document complexity.

Complex/multiple-document sessions are quoted in advance
Yes. Iowa authorized remote online notarization under Iowa Code Chapter 9B, and our notaries are registered with the Iowa Secretary of State to perform it. An online notarization carries the same legal weight as one done at your kitchen table.
Every session is recorded and retained as required by law, and your document gets a tamper-evident digital seal that can be verified by anyone who receives it.
